Medical School in UL to Provide Clare GP’s

It’s hoped the development of a medical school in the Mid West will address the shortfall in GP numbers across County Clare.

Construction of the long awaited building at UL will finally get underway this year and work on the 4000 square metre project should be completed by 20/10.

It’s all part of the government’s 200 million euro package for the higher education sector and the new school will accommodate up to 288 graduate students.
