Clare's Labour TD has disagreed with a senior party figure on the issue of Town Councils.
They were abolished last year, in a highly-controversial move that Minister Brendan Howlin has described as his biggest regret of the party's time in office.

The move was also criticised by a number of former Labour Councillors, but Deputy Michael McNamara feels the public here aren't angry about it.
