Clare's Labour TD has declined to give his full backing to Eamon Gilmore as leadee of the party.

However, Deputy Michael McNamara has said the issue should not be discussed until after the local and European elections on May 23rd.
His comments come after party colleague and Ireland South MEP Phil Prendegast called for an immediate change at the top of the junior coalition partner.
The Tipperary based politician has called for an emergency meeting to discuss removing Eamon Gilmore as party leader.
