McLoughlin confirms interest in Mulcahy County Council seat

Shannon Councillor Sean McLoughlin believes he’s a strong contender to replace Tony Mulcahy on Clare County Council.

Two new local representatives will have to be co-opted onto the local authority after Senator Mulcahy secured a seat in the upper house of the Oireachtas along with Ennistymon’s Martin Conway.

Clr McLoughlin says he’s being approached by many local Fine Gael representatives to seek the position vacated by Tony Mulcahy and he has put his name forward as a contender.
