The British Prime Minister says the UK will do "all in its power" in the war against Islamic State.
David Cameron has offerend the use of Britain's RAF base in Cyprus to launch airstrikes in Syria, and repeated his conviction that Britain should take part in them too.
The two leaders have met in Paris in the first of a series of diplomatic meetings between President Hollande and world leaders this week.
Speaking earlier President Hollande says they will intensify their air-strikes.
Meanwhile, The Mayor of Ennis has written to his counterpart in Saint-Paul de Fenouillet in France to sympthise with the people of the town following last weekend's terrorist attacks in Paris.
The Southern French town has been twinned with the Clare County Capital since 1989.
In the letter to Mayor Jacques Bayona, the Mayor of Ennis expressed sympathy to the people of the town and throughout France, in the face of what he described as "brutal and indiscriminate attacks".
Councillor Pat Daly acknowledged the strength and resillience that the people of France have shown, and says that it will ensure that "the principals of Liberté, Égalité and Fraternité" which we all cherish, "will overcome these current difficult times".
He's encouraging people throughout Clare to sign a book of condolance which is open at Áras Contae and Chláir on New Road in Ennis until Friday, in memory of the victims of the attacks.
