The Mayor of Ennis is calling for further investment in mental health services for children in this county.
It comes as a nationwide audit of prescribing practices in CAMHS is to take place following concerns over the medication of children in South Kerry.

Clare children with mental health difficulties are often faced with having to attend clinics in Galway or adult services in Limerick when they require assistance.
Independent Councillor Ann Norton, who’s Clinic Manager with the Clare Crusaders, believes a more targeted approach towards resources in this county is now needed.
