Mayor Of Ennis Chooses Grand Marshalls For Paddy’s Day Parade To Mark Clare’s Sporting History

The Mayor of Ennis says the Grand Marshalls for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade represent the long-standing commitment of Clare’s sporting heroes to their communities.

This year’s Grand Marshalls are Jimmy O’Brien, a player and former president with Ennis Rugby Club, Aisling Rynne, the great-grandniece of Kilnamona boxer Michael McTigue, and PJ Purcell, a great grandnephew of Barefield athlete ‘Honest’ John Purcell.
