The Mayor of Clare is calling on the Minister for Transport to appoint an interim chairperson for Shannon Group.
The call comes after news of Pádraig Ó Céidigh’s resignation from the role, which he held for just six months, emerged yesterday.

Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe has told the Dail the Department of Transport and Public Appointments Service is to ‘work hard’ to attempt to find a person of similar calibre for the position.
