Mayor Of Clare Believes Current State Of Local Public Transport Services Are Leaving Vulnerable People At Risk

Clare Councillors are calling on Bus Éireann and the National Transport Authority to appear before a sitting of the Local Authority.

It comes amidst a wave of reports from constitutents of negative experiences with the county’s public bus services .

The chief concerns expressed by locals include a lack of capacity on vehicles as well as public obligation services only collecting passengers at official route stops.

Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council & Killaloe native Tony O’Brien claims the livelihoods of the most vulnerable individuals are at stake.
