A marketing campaign has been launched which aims to attract marine companies to the Shannon Estuary, including parts of County Clare.

Clare County Council has joined forces with the local authorities in Limerick and Kerry, as well as IDA Ireland, Shannon Commercial Properties and Shannon Foynes Port Company to produce a brochure package that details investment opportunities at 6 locations in the region.
Included are some 345 hectres of land in Moneypoint and Innismurry/Cahericon that have been zoned for marine-related industry.
Senior Planner with Clare County Council Brian McCarthy says the Shannon Estuary should be an attractive area for potential investors.
