13 women from Clare underwent an abortion at a UK clinic last year.
Coming in the first year in which terminations were available legally in Ireland, the figures published by British health officials mark a significant reduction on previous years.
The previous year, it stood at 81 and in previous years it has been even higher again.

Nationally, there was an 87% drop in the number of women from Ireland who underwent an abortion England or Wales, dropping from nearly 2,900 to 375.
Figures are not yet available for the number of terminations carried out in Ireland last year.
