Gardaí say they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man's body in Waterford city yesterday afternoon.

The remains of the man – who was in his 40s or 50s – were found in the back garden of a house on Francis Street.
A post mortem examination will be carried out today, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
