Both sides are gathering today for the first time since last Wednesday morning, when a strike at the company's Shannon plant was averted at the eleventh hour.
Sources say that progress has been made by both sides, though it's unclear at this stage whether a deal will be struck today.
SIPTU represents around a quarter of the 400 staff at Element Six, which was established in Shannon in the 1960s as De Beers.
