A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following a road crash in West Clare overnight.

The single-car collision happened on the N67 Miltown to Lahinch Road shortly before 10 o'clock last night.
One man was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he's understood to be in a serious condition.
The road has been closed and a Garda forensic investigation is underway.
Motorists travelling from Miltown are being diverted on the L2124, while anyone travelling from Lahinch is being diverted on the L6236.
