A man has been taken to hospital following a traffic accident in Scarriff this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Main St. at 5:50 this morning, and two units of the fire service from Scarriff attended the scene, along with Gardaí and ambulance personnel.
The man has been taken to University Hospital Limerick, though his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and the road has re-opened.
