Gardai in West Clare are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Kilkee overnight.
The 19-year old was taken to hospital after he was discovered by Gardai on Railway Road in the town at 1:30 this morning

He had suffered a wound to his abdomen, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
It’s understood that the man had been socialising in the town prior to the incident – Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
