Dubliners Patrick and Finn Troy spent 28 hours underground at Pollnagollum, before they were rescued last evening.

The caves, which are up to 20 kilometres long, are some of the largest in the country.

The Irish Cave Rescue Organisation was tasked there by Ennis Gardaí yesterday, and found the pair just after 5pm.

Patrick says he made a rookie error.
