A man in his 70s has been rescued from a house fire in Coonagh.

Limerick Fire Service received a call at around 10.30 last night and three units were dispatched to the scene.
They found the house well alight and discovered the man unconscious inside.
He regained conciousness after being adminstered oxygen and was removed to University Hospital Limerick where he is understood to be in a serious but stable condition.
