A 56-year-old man remains in garda custody in connection the discovery of another man's body in a house in Limerick City.
The body of the 41-year-old, who is understood to be Latvian, was discovered in an upstairs room of the terraced house on Barrack Hill, just off Wolfe Tone Street.
The man's remains are still at the scene awaiting the arrival of the Deputy State Pathologist.
The 56-year-old who is also from Eastern Europe is being held at Roxboro Garda Station and can be held for 24 hours without charge.
