A man remains in Garda custody this morning after a woman was attacked in Limerick.
The 37-year-old was found with suspected stab wounds at a house in Hassett's Villas in the Thomondgate area of the city in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The woman remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Henry Street Garda Station.
