A man who was arrested in relation to the seizure of over €100,000 worth of suspected drugs in Ennis has been released without charge.
The man aged in his 20’s was arrested in the Tobarteascain region of Ennis in the early hours of Thursday under Operation Tara.

During the course of the search of a car, €100,000 worth of suspected cannabis was seized. A follow up search of a residence in the area led to a further €5,000 of suspected cannabis and drug paraphernalia being seized.
The man has since been released without charge, Gardaí say investigations are still ongoing.
