A man is being questioned over the death of a man in Carlow Town yesterday afternoon.

The 46-year-old man was found stabbed to death at a house on Frederick Avenue at around half past one.
A post-mortem on his body is expected to be carried out today.
A man in his 20s was arrested yesterday and is being held at Carlow Garda Station.
