Man On Trial Charged With Manslaughter of Limerick Woman

A 44 year old heating and plumbing contractor has been returned for trial on a charge of manslaughter following the death of a woman from carbon monoxide poisoning following a gas leak in a Co Cork hotel.

Richard Davis of Ballygarvan faces trial over the death of Miriam Reidy at the Trident Hotel in Kinsale, on January 9th, 2011.

The 35 year old native of Ballyhahill, Co Limerick was one of a group of 25 friends attending a hen party weekend in Kinsale when the tragedy happened.

Mr Davis and his company  face a total of 5 charges in connection with her death.
