A man has died following a shooting in West Dublin last night.

It happened in the Abbeywood Court area of Lucan shortly before 10:30.
The 46 year old was rushed to Blanchardstown Hospital, where he later died.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
