A man has issued a guilty plea in relation to his role in a violent incident at an Ennis primary school three years ago.
The 23-year-old is the third person to admit to offences arising out of the incident which occurred at the Holy Family School in March 2012.
Two other people, a 13-year-old and a 22-year-old man, have already pleaded guilty to offences arising out of the incident which occurred on March 20th, 2012.
The court has previously heard that these ran through the primary school with a machete and slash hook, giving chase to two other men who barricaded themselves into a classroom in which children and a teacher were present.
Counsel for the two deny that their clients possessed the weapons, while the disturbance followed an earlier verbal altercation outside the school.
At Ennis Circuit Court, 23-year-old Thomas Molloy of Park Avenue, Ennis pleaded guilty to possessing an instrument capable of inflicting serious injury, namely a hockey stick, at the Holy Family School on the day in question.
He had first denied committing violent disorder, but the jury for this case was discharged when he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge.
He was remanded on bail by Judge Tom O'Donnell and is due before the court next month.
