A man was injured in Gort last night after a truck struck the railway bridge there, and then overturned onto a van.

The incident happened at around 6:30 last evening.
The injured man had been sitting in the parked van, but managed to escape the vehicle.
Emergency personnel attended the scene, while Iarnrod Eireann is to carry out an inspection of the bridge.
