A Spanish man is being treated in hospital after being beaten with a golf club in Cork.
The victim was walking down White Street close to the city centre with two friends at around 10 last night when they were set upon by a group of teenagers who were drinking in the area.

He’s being treated at Cork University Hospital where his condition is believed to be stable.
Gardaí arrested a number of youths following the attack.
