Clive Sharp has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Offaly vet Catherine Gowing.

The 46-year-old will serve a minimum of 37 years.
Sharp accepted responsibility for the 36-year-old’s murder last October after she went missing in a town in the north of Wales.
Her remains were later found in two separate locations near the town of Mold in Wales.
Catherine’s sister Emma, who spoke outside court this morning, paid tribute to her sister:
