A 26 year old man is due to appear before Derry Magistrates Court this morning, charged with the murder of an 18 year old girl.

Lauren O’Neill was shot dead in the village of Bellaghy on Saturday morning.
Her 21 year old sister Brenda, who was also wounded in the attack, remains in a critical condition in hospital.
It’s understood Lauren was killed, as she tried to protect her sister from being shot.
