A man is due to appear before Limerick District Court later charged in connection with a shooting on Saturday.
A 42 year old man was injured when he was shot on Hyde Road at around two o'clock in the afternoon.

A 22 year old arrested in relation to the incident is to appear in court in Kilmallock at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Gardaí recovered a gun and ammunition following the incident.
