A 24 year old man is due in court later today charged in connection with the murder of Aoife Phelan.

The 30 year old pregnant nanny disappeared from Portlaoise in County Laois just over 2 weeks ago.
Her body was found at the rear of a house on the Timahoe road outside the town on Wednesday.
A post mortem examination was conducted on her remains yesterday – but Gardaí haven’t released the results, for operational reasons.
