The body of a 31 year old man remains at the scene of a fatal collision in Limerick.
The man died after falling out of a car on the N69 at around 1 O' clock this morning.
The state pathologist is on the way to the scene of this fatal collision which claimed the life of a 31 year old man overnight.
The man was fatally injured when he fell out the rear door of a car traveling on the N69 at around 1am, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident happened on the Askeaton side of Kildimo.
The road is expected to remain closed until this afternoon, Gardai say diversions are in place via the N21.
Detectives are now trying to find the car the victim fell from which is believed to have left the scene at the time.
Anyone with information relating to a 99 WH registered light blue car, possibly a Toyota Avensis or a BMW, is asked to contact Newcastle West Garda station.
