A man in his 60’s has died after being hit by a car in County Galway.
It happened at Ballinahown in Inverin at half past six yesterday evening.

The pedestrian was taken to University College Hospital Galway where he later died.
The stretch of road where the collision happened is closed for a forensic examination.
