A man in his 80s has died in a house fire in Cork.
Emergency services attended the scene of the blaze at Knockbarry Cottages in Buttevant at around 9:30 last night.

The man was found dead at the scene and a second man in his 40s was transferred to Cork University Hospital where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
The body of the deceased remains at the scene, which has been sealed off for a technical examination.
