A man has died after been electrocuted while cutting hedges in Athea in west Limerick.

It happened at around 1 o'clock this afternoon when he clipped some power lines.
Gardaí at Newcastle West are investigating but are not treating the death as suspicious.
The Health and Safety Authority has also been notified and an investigation is underway.
