A Limerick man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a man in the city over 18 months ago.

54-year-old Martin Purcell was found dead in an apartment on Wickham Street in September 2011.
33-year-old Gerard Manning with an address at Upper Gerald Griffin Street was arraigned this morning at the Central Criminal Court where a jury has been sworn in for his 2 week trial.
