Man In Court In Connect With Wicklow Remains

A man is due in court shortly in connection with the murder of a woman whose remains were found in the Wicklow Mountains.

It’s believed Patricia O’Connor – a grandmother in her 60’s – was killed about two weeks ago.

Last Saturday walkers found a torso near Enninskerry and since then various body parts have been found scattered along a 20km stretch of the Wicklow Mountains.

Tests confirmed they belonged to Patricia O’Connor – a grandmother in her 60s – from Rathfarnham in South Dublin.

A 32 year old man was arrested in Wexford on Tuesday as part of the investigation.

He’s been questioned at Bray Garda Station in Wicklow and has now been charged.

He’s due here before Tallaght District Court in Dublin shortly.
