The man who established a controversial soup kitchen in Ennis remains committed to the project, in spite of public opposition.

Ennis Councillors have backed residents in the Clare Road and St. Flannan’s Terrace area who say the Twist Soup kitchen is unsuitable for the locality.
It opened yesterday, serving eight meals, and the man behind it Oliver Williams says it will continue to operate this week.
However, as a result of ongoing concerns, he says he will consider re-locating it to a more suitable site.
