A man attempted to flee Limerick District court this morning, seconds after he was charged with murder.

20-year old Dylan Hayes, of Kilteragh, Dooradoyle, made a bolt from the holding area in the court and lashed out at gardai.
Mr Hayes was charged with murdering 31-year old Shane Murphy, in Pallasgreen, Co Limerick, on April 30th last, in what was described as a "frenzied" knife attack.
A second man was also charged with the murder – both men were remanded in custody and are due in court again tomorrow.
