A man has been arrested following a short Garda pursuit in Ennis overnight.
Tools and property which are believed to be the proceeds of theft from a number of cars were recovered.

Gardaí stopped a car in the Toberteascain area at around twenty to one last night following a short persuit in the area.
During the course of a search, they recovered a large quantity of tools and property, which are believed to be the proceeds of a number of break-ins to cars in the Ennis area last night.
The car was seized and a man in his twenties was arrested at the scene.
He’s being detained at Ennis Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
He can be held for up to 24 hours.
