A man has been arrested following the seizure of a quantity of drugs and cash during searches carried out at five properties in West Clare.
As part of ongoing operations targeting the sale and supply of drugs, Gardaí from the Clare Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by the Kilrush Crime Unit and the Garda Dog Unit carried out searches at the domestic residences in Kilrush yesterday.
During the course of these searches, cocaine with an approximate value of €25,270 and cash to the value of €95,765, along with nominal amounts of cannabis and associated drug paraphernalia was seized.
The drugs seized will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
A man has been arrested and charged in connection with this investigation and is due to appear before the Kilrush District Court this morning, 18th February 2025 at 10:30 am.
