Malala Named Joined Nobel Prize Winner

A teenager from Pakistan – who survived being shot in the head by the Taliban – has been announced as the joint winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Campaigner Malala Yousafza has been recognised for her work to secure the right of all children to an education.

The Indian activist Kailash Satyarthi also got the prize for highlighting the exploitation of children for financial gain.
