According to the INMO, there were 36 patients awaiting a bed at University Hospital Limerick today – 23 of those in the emergency department.

This is down significantly from the 61 reported to be seeking admission at Dooradoyle yesterday.
However, UHL is still the busiest facility nationwide on a day when there are over 360 people on trolleys or in overflow area of wards in Irish hospitals.
