A major gathering of high level engineers is taking place in Dublin today to come up with solutions to our recent flooding problems.

In particular the event will look at what role more advanced engineering skills can play in preventing the problems we suffered during the winter just gone.
Caroline Spillane the Director General of Engineers Ireland's says the CEO of the Rivers agency in Northern Ireland is due to address the gathering.
