Drugs worth €500,000 have been seized in West Clare.
The find was part of a raid on a Cannabis Grow House in Carrigaholt.

As part of an operation targeting the cultivation of cannabis, Gardaí from Kilrush searched a house at Breaffa, Carrigaholt on Wednesday. Inside they discovered 600 Cannabis plants growing and evidence of in excess of 500 harvested plants.
The drugs have been sent for testing, but subject to analysis Gardaí say the Cannabis seized may have a street value of almost €500,000 .
No arrests have been made and the house at Breaffa, Carrigaholt remains preserved for on-going technical examinations of the area.
