Shannon Group claims the opening of the M18 Gort to Tuam Motorway provides an unprecedented opportunity to advance the case of a western economic corridor.
The 57 kilometre stretch of road opens this afternoon, providing the final link between Tuam, Galway, Ennis, Shannon and Limerick.

It’s hoped the route will redouble the potential of the region to be marketed for inward investment and tourism.
