Loyalists in the North – who are angry about the recent decision by Belfast City Council to restrict the flying of the Union flag at City Hall – plan to hold a protest in Dublin city centre on Saturday, January 12th.
They’re calling on the Irish Government to remove the Tricolour from Leinster House – saying the Oireachtas should stop interferring in their affairs.
The news comes after more riots broke out on the streets of Belfast last night – causing 10 police officers to be injured.
