A low-level yellow rainfall alert remains in place in Clare this afternoon.

Motorists are being advised to drive with extreme care as Met Eireann has forcast up to 35 millimetres of rain in some places.
The alert remains in place until midnight tonight.
A status yellow wind warning for the county in also in place until 2 o'clock this afternoon with gusts of up to 90 kilometres forecast.
The low level alerts cover Clare, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford.
