The Lough Derg RNLI received an early call-out this morning.

Just after 5:00, volunteers were requested to launch following a report to Gardaí in Nenagh of calls for help coming from the lake.
They were informed that a cruiser had been seen leaving Dromineer Harbour near Lough Derg Yacht Club around the same time.
The Shannon Rescue Helicopter was placed on standby as the crew launched.
The lifeboat crew used a search light to find the cruiser, and confirmed that all passengers were accounted for before returning to their station.
