The Lough Derg RNLI Lifeboat was called out last evening to assist three people stranded on a vessel that had suffered engine failure
The lifeboat was called out to assist the vessel shortly before nine o’clock last night – the stranded craft was anchored in the navigation channel off Kilgarvin Quay

All passengers were safe and unharmed and were asked to put on their flotation devices as their boat was towed safely back to the harbour in Dromineer
